Is Preuvance a certification body?

No. Preuvance does not certify anything. It prepares your product, your evidence and your file — and, where the law requires a notified body, it routes you to one with everything ready.

Question 2

Will Preuvance make my product “100% compliant”?

Accepted Answer

No one can honestly promise that. Preuvance makes your product ready with evidence: repaired where software can repair, verified where software can verify, and documented so that what remains is yours to decide.

Question 3

Does Preuvance submit reports to the authorities for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Reporting to ENISA and your national CSIRT is a legal act performed by the manufacturer. Preuvance organises the assessment, drafts the 24-hour, 72-hour and final report material, and keeps the timing discipline. You submit.

Question 4

What happens to my source code?

Accepted Answer

It stays where it lives. Analysis runs on a local or private runner you control; the control plane is hosted in the EU; access is read-only by default; and any change arrives as a pull request opened only with your explicit permission. Secrets are excluded by construction.

Question 5

My product is pure SaaS. Am I in scope?

Accepted Answer

Possibly not — software running entirely on your own infrastructure can fall outside the CRA's product scope. Preuvance tells you so plainly and puts you in Security Mode: disclosure policy, dependency care, incident material, and proof discipline.

Question 6

What changes on 11 September 2026?

Article 14 reporting obligations begin: actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe incidents must be reported — early warning within 24 hours, notification within 72 hours, final report within 14 days for a vulnerability or one month for an incident. This covers products already on the market.

Question 7

Do the lower plans lose safety features?

Accepted Answer

No. Check, Solo, Studio and Agency all repair, verify and prepare evidence to the same standard. Plans differ only in how many products they cover.

Who is responsible in the end?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer retains final legal responsibility for the product. Preuvance makes that responsibility workable: the evidence exists, the record is bound, and the decisions are clearly yours.
